who i am
My journey blossoms through the profound union of Yoga and Zen Buddhism, guided by an authentic inner exploration dedicated to the investigation of pure experience.
Over time, I have delved into various yogic languages, until my quest shifted from technical form toward a renewed perceptual awareness, rooting itself in the silent wisdom of Taoism and Zen.
Sunyata Yoga arises naturally from this evolution. It is not offered as a system of rigid patterns, but rather as an invitation to embody vital presence in every moment of our daily actions.
In this vision, the body ceases to be an instrument to be perfected or a limit to be overcome; there is no ideal goal to achieve to feel whole.
Instead, it becomes a site of interdependent relationships where the dance of the universe is reflected—a microcosm manifesting the fluid and impermanent nature of being.
My mission is to hold a sacred space where this understanding can finally arise.

yoga teacher
Iga approaches yoga as a life practice, a compass that guides decisions and teaches one to live with lightness and an open heart.
She is a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher (YTT 200hr, eligible for Yoga Alliance registration), trained between Prague and the Himalayan mountains of Nepal.
In her Vinyasa classes, asanas flow seamlessly, alternating dynamic movement with moments of stillness and a profound focus on the breath, always adapting the practice to the needs of the group.
Her role is essential in logistical realization and support as a yoga teacher for all Sunyata Yoga events: she brings a spirit of tolerance, deep listening, and mindfulness to our offerings, creating sacred spaces for inner freedom and personal growth.

my zen yoga practice
body as interdependent relation
The body is not a shape to be attained or corrected.
It is a dynamic field of relations, where each posture exists in connection with the others.
Practice does not isolate movement; it reveals its continuity.
emptiness (sunyata)
Emptiness is not absence.
It is the living space, devoid of form and color, that allows every manifestation of existence to occur.
In practice, the pause, the stillness, and the silence become sacred sites for perceiving and amplifying the direct experience of being.
sound cosmic vibration
Sound does not simply accompany movement; it is an intrinsic part of the same experience. The body and breath emerge as a single field of resonance.
Sound journeys and immersive practices are not separate moments, but amplifications of this sacred space: a more direct way of listening to the continuity between body, mind, and environment.
Within the sound, what we call the "self" dissolves into a web of relationships in constant, fluid motion.
dynamic meditationn
(kinhin)
The essence of kinhin—Zen walking meditation—is woven through and reimagined within the sequences.
Every transition becomes conscious and fluid, moving with effortless continuity.
Separation between movement and meditation dissolves: the sequence itself transforms into the path.
meditations and zazen
Meditative practice is never separate from the physical body. The contemplative forms of yoga merge with Zazen, not as distinct techniques, but as expressions of a singular presence.
Posture transitions into meditation, while stillness and silence become sacred spaces to recognize one's original face—the inherent Buddha-nature.
It is not a matter of adding something new, but of awakening to what is already here.
Enlightenment is not a goal to be achieved, but a truth to be discovered.
mondo (dialogues) and koan
Practice also embraces dialogue and deep listening. Within the Zen tradition, mondo and koans are not merely explained but lived through experience.
Words and scriptures do not serve to build intellectual understanding; they are markers pointing toward a destination.
Like a finger pointing at the moon: if we fixate on the finger, we fail to see what is being revealed.
What matters is not the answer, but direct insight—traversing theoretical knowledge through one’s own existential presence.
"enlightenment means to be intimate with all things."
